  • Capitalise on (verb) – पूँजी के रूप में बदलना

  • Carve out (phrasal verb)
    Meaning –  create, establish, take out (something with effort from a whole).
  • Runaway (adjective) – आपत्ति से भागनेवाला
    Meaning – A person who has run away, especially from their family or an institution.
    Synonyms – effortless, decisive, overwhelming/landslide.
    Sentence – A teenage runaway finds herself on the road to perdition after she gets involved in crime.

    Meaning – (of an object) accidentally slide or move out of position or from someone’s grasp.

  • Attribute (verb) – गुण
    Meaning –  Regard something as being caused by.
    Synonyms – ascribe, hold responsible for connect/associate with.
    Sentence – His resignation was attributed to stress.
  • Cynical (adjective) – निंदक
    Meaning – Believing that people are motivated purely by self-interest; distrustful of human sincerity or integrity.
    Synonyms – sceptical, doubtful, distrustful.
    Sentence – He was brutally cynical and hardened to every sob story under the sun.
  • Implications (noun) – निहितार्थ, उलझाव
    Meaning – The conclusion that can be drawn from something although it is not explicitly stated.
    Synonyms – consequence/outcome, ramification, repercussion.
    Sentence – Someone certainly wanted that implication to be made.
  • Wary (adjective) – सावधान
    Meaning – Feeling or showing caution about possible dangers or problems.
    Synonyms – cautious, careful, circumspect.
    Sentence – He was truly despairing, but the muted female voice was firm, but understandably wary.
  • Facilitate (verb) – सुविधा प्रदान करना
    Meaning – Make (an action or process) easy or easier.
