  • Address (verb) – संबोधित करना, निवेदन करना
    Meaning –  Speak to (a person or an assembly)
    Synonyms –  attend to, tackle, deal with. 
    Sentence – She addressed the open-air meeting.
  • Distress (noun) – संकट, कठिनाई
    Meaning –  Extreme anxiety, sorrow, or pain.
    Synonyms – anguish,pain, suffering, hardship.  
    Sentence – Her fingers flew to her throat in distress.
  • Hold someone’s attention (phrase)
    Meaning –  attract, inspire. 
  • Agrarian (adjective)कृषि
    Meaning – Relating to cultivated land or the cultivation of land.
    Sentence – Colleges of Agriculture have drawn from a historically shrinking agrarian population base.
  • Unqualified (adjective) – अयोग्य, बेहुनर
    Meaning – (of a person) not officially recognized as a practitioner of a particular profession or activity through having satisfied the relevant conditions or requirements.
    Synonyms – total, complete/entire; unconditional, unlicensed, untrained, inexperienced
    Sentence – He was totally unqualified for his job as a senior house doctor.
  • Loan waiver (noun) – ऋण छूट
    Meaning – it is the waiving of the real or potential liability of the person or party who has taken out a loan through the voluntary action of the person or party who has made the loan. 
  • Mitigate (verb) – कम करना, घटाना
    Meaning – Make (something bad) less severe, serious, or painful.
    Synonyms – reduce, lessen, alleviate/ease.  
    Sentence – To say that statistics mitigate murder is obviously contemptible.
  • Indebtedness (noun) – ऋण, कर्जदारी
    Meaning – The condition of owing money.
    Synonyms – financial obligation, financial liability, debt.  
    Sentence – The industry is taking steps to reduce indebtedness and cut costs.
  • Remuneration (noun) – पारिश्रमिक, मेहनताना

  • Restrained (adjective) – नियंत्रित किया हुआ
    Meaning – Characterized by reserve or moderation; unemotional or dispassionate.
    Synonyms –  controlled, sober, quiet, calm. 
    Sentence –This is simply too much visual clutter for a site that should be treated with restrained dignity.
  • Unruly (adjective) – अनियंत्रित 
    Meaning –  Disorderly and disruptive and not amenable to discipline or control.

    Synonyms –  disorderly, uncontrollable, wild/troublemaking.
    Sentence – A group of unruly children.
  • Tangible (adjective) – वास्तविक, असली
    Meaning – Perceptible by touch.
    Synonyms – real/actual, definite, substantial.

    Meaning – considerably, significantly, noticeably.
  • Galvanise (verb) – प्रेरित करना
    Meaning – Shock or excite (someone) into taking action.
    Synonyms – inspire, spur, encourage.

    Meaning – (of a feeling or atmosphere) so intense as to seem almost tangible.
