Poem – 1
(A House, A Home)
What is a house?
Itโs brick and stone
and wood thatโs hard.
Some window glass
and perhaps a yard.
Itโs eaves and chimneys
and tile floors
and stucco and roof
and lots of doors.
What is a home?
Itโs loving and family
and doing for others.
Itโs brothers and sisters
and fathers and mothers.
Itโs unselfish acts
and kindly sharing
and showing your loved ones
youโre always caring.
