The Indian Constitution was prepared on 26 November-1949, and the Indian Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly.
- 15 August 1947, India was liberated from the slavery of the British, after that on 26 January 1950, India became a national republic, on this day the Indian Constitution came into force.
- 26 January is celebrated as Republic Day in India, 26 January is celebrated as a folk festival all over India.
- So far, such an occasion has come in India for 2 times when no dignitary of foreign countries came as the chief guest on any Republic Day.
- This is happening for the first time since 1966, when the head of state of any other country is not a guest at the Republic Day of India.
- This time in India’s 72nd Republic Day 2021 celebrations, a foreign dignitary did not attend as the chief guest.
- On this day, the flag is hoisted by the President at Delhi Red Fort, along with the parade on the Rajpath, tableaux of different states are taken out.
Uttarakhand’s Tableau in Republic Day
- This year the tableau of Uttarakhand has been included in 2021. This time the tableau was named Kedarkhand. The tableau depicted Kedarnath temple, Shiva’s vehicle Nandi, state animal musk deer, state bird Monal, state flower Brahma Kamal.
- The tableau of Uttarakhand got the third place at the national level on the Republic Day parade, this was the first time that the tableau of Uttarakhand was awarded.
- After the formation of the Uttarakhand state, from the year 2003 to 2021, 12 tableaux of Uttarakhand have been included in the parade.
- For the first time in 2003, Uttarakhand included its tableau in the parade of 26 January.

- 2005 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was on the Nanda Devi Parvat Yatra.
- 2006 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was on the Valley of Flowers.
- 2007 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was at Corbett National Park.
- 2009 – In Uttarakhand the tableau was on Adventure Tourism.
- 2010 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was held at the Kumbh Mela Haridwar.
- 2014 – In Uttarakhand the tableau was on The Herbal Wealth.
- 2015 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was at Kedarnath Dham.
- 2016 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was on the Ramman Festival.
- 2018 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was on Rural Tourism.
- 2019 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was on Gandhiji’s visit to Kausani.
- 2021 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was on Kedarkhand.
- 2022 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was on Badrinath Dham, Hemkund Sahib, Tehri Dam and Dobra Chanthi Bridge.
- 2023 – The tableau of Uttarakhand was on Manaskhand (Jim Corbett National Park, Jageshwar Dham, Aipan and Chholiya Dance).
