Answer – <\/strong>Anagha’s mother wanted her to know about the story of Buddha because she was going on a school trip from Pune (in Maharashtra) to Varanasi (in Uttar Pradesh). On her arrival she wanted to know about the story of Buddha because she had visited the holiest Buddhist place, Sarnath with her colleagues.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. Do you think it would have been easy for slaves to join the Sangha? Give reasons for your answer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Answer – <\/strong>Yes, slaves can join sangha, when he got the permission of his masters. Buddhism doesn\u2019t believe in casteism. Any person who was ready to act on Buddhist Rule can join sangha.<\/span><\/p>\n
