Remember, no men are strange, no countries foreign
\nBeneath all uniforms, a single body breathes
\nLike ours: the land our brothers walk upon
\nIs earth like this, in which we all shall lie.<\/span><\/p>\n

They, too, aware of sun and air and water,
\nAre fed by peaceful harvests, by war\u2019s long winter starv\u2019d.
\nTheir hands are ours, and in their lines we read
\nA labour not different from our own.<\/span><\/p>\n

Remember they have eyes like ours that wake
\nOr sleep, and strength that can be won
\nBy love. In every land is common life
\nThat all can recognise and understand.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us remember, whenever we are told
\nTo hate our brothers, it is ourselves
\nThat we shall dispossess, betray, condemn.
