How would you rewrite Euclid\u2019s fifth postulate so that it would be easier to understand?<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Answer &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong> <strong>Euclid&#8217;s fifth postulate:<\/strong> Given a line L and a point P not on the line, exactly one line can be drawn through P which is parallel to L.<br \/>\nLet&#8217;s understand this.<br \/>\nFor every line \u2018l\u2019 and for every point \u2018P\u2019 not lying on \u2018l\u2019, there exist a unique line \u2018m\u2019 passing through \u2018P\u2019 and parallel to \u2018l\u2019. Measure these distances. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We know that it is the same everywhere, so these lines \u2018l\u2019 and \u2018m\u2019 do not meet anywhere. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hence, the two lines &#8216;l&#8217; and &#8216;m&#8217; are parallel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2. Does Euclid\u2019s fifth postulate imply the existence of parallel lines?
