3. Why did he buy a young goat?

\n<\/span><\/strong>Answer –\u00a0<\/strong>Chandni hated the rope around her neck because it pulled her back from going to the beautiful hills. She wanted to be free of it knowing the possible consequences.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u201cNow Abbu Khan understood Chandni\u2019s problem\u2026\u201d What was Chandni\u2019s problem?

\n<\/span><\/strong>Answer –\u00a0<\/strong>The wise old bird said, \u201cChandni is the winner\u201d because she faced her fear like a warrior. She did not stay chained just to be alive. On the contrary, she fought for her freedom. She did not lose her freedom.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u201cDeath in an open field is better than life in a small hut,\u201d Chandni said to herself. Was it the right decision? Give reasons for your answer.
\n<\/span><\/strong>Answer –\u00a0<\/strong>Yes, it was the right decision. Life in captivity is not welcomed by anyone, not even by the animals. Every living creature wants freedom and is ready to face every situation, even death for the sake of freedom. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Freedom is life. Discuss this with reference to \u2018Chandni\u2019 and \u2018I Want Something in a Cage\u2019.
\n<\/span><\/strong>Answer –\u00a0<\/strong>Freedom is life. In the lesson \u201cI Want Something in a Cage\u201d, the strange man frees two doves from the cage. They were set free to enjoy freedom. The strange man, who had spent ten years in jail, knew the value of freedom.
\n<\/span>In the chapter \u201cChandni\u201d too, the struggle is for freedom but it is at the cost of her own life.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
