\n<\/strong>Answer – <\/strong>Power over the ballot box, signifies the power of the common people, who are availing the right to vote in every election.
\nThey are the real power of any country. They are driving the government and the working of the system without any second thoughts.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. What issue is Tawa Matsya Sangh fighting for?
\n<\/strong>Answer – <\/strong>Issue of their right of fish caught in the Tawa Reservoir.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Why did the villagers set up this organisation?
\n<\/strong>Answer – <\/strong>The villagers set up this organisation in order to protect their livelihood and their land. They also set it up with the additional objective of highlighting the injustice meted out to them by the government.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Do you think that the large scale participation contributed to the success of the TMS? Write two lines on why you think so.
\n<\/strong>Answer –\u00a0<\/strong>Yes, large-scale participation of villagers has contributed to the success of the TMS. Villagers organised rallies and a chakka jam (road blockade), demanding their right to continue fishing for their livelihood. In response to their protests, the government created a committee to assess the issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. What role does the Constitution play in peoples struggle equality?
\n<\/strong>Answer –\u00a0<\/strong>The Indian Constitution recognises the equality of all persons. Movements and struggles for equality in India continuously refer to the Indian Constitution to make their point about equality and justice for all.<\/span><\/p>\n
